Real pirates don’t wear sunglasses

I drove to Mississippi today. Because we’re in the conference tournament. I rocked out in my car. It was neat. I did take these shots on the road. Don’t worry. I had cruise control fully functional and my knee had total control of the wheel the whole time. Kidding–kind of.

This is my excited face
I think the sign says that Mississippi is the birthplace of America's music. And there is a special on coca-cola.

So we arrived at the yard and got a quick practice in. I sat in a patio chair and watched. The tops of my legs are now pink, since I wore not-shorts. And by “not-shorts” I mean bermudas.

Since I was rather distanced from the field, I couldn’t hear much. But I didn’t mind since it was a gloriously sunny day. So much so that everyone was wearing sunglasses. Even those who don’t normally (that I have noticed) like Steve, whose full name is Steve the Pirate. During BP, someone told Steve that real pirates didn’t wear sunglasses. They wear eye patches, duh.

I giggled. That comment was pretty much the highlight of my day. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, I will let you all be the judges.

Now I’m going to retire into my most comfortable pants ever thank you for creating them GAP Body and finish up some more work. Because that’s what I do.
