Overview
Empowered Instructors is a resource hub and online shop built to serve digital arts educators seeking ready-to-use curriculum materials and supplemental lesson plans. The goal of the project was to establish a refined, modern design that reflected the educational purpose of the brand while supporting a robust set of digital products.
The design direction emphasized clarity, sophistication, and usability. The layout was crafted with bespoke design patterns and reusable components that ensure visual consistency across the homepage, shop pages, and informational content. This pattern-driven approach not only strengthens brand continuity but also empowers the client to add new sections and pages without developer support.
A primary functional requirement for the site was the shop for digital downloads, allowing teachers to browse, purchase, and instantly download curriculum modules and lesson plans directly from the site. Each product category is clearly structured to help educators find exactly what they need, from full year-long curriculum sets to supplemental Illustrator and Photoshop projects.
Behind the scenes, the admin experience was tailored so that non-technical users can manage products, update curriculum descriptions, and swap visuals with minimal friction, all while maintaining the integrity of the design system. This blend of thoughtful design and streamlined content management ensures that Empowered Instructors remains both a beautiful and practical platform fit for long-term growth.
