Dave has packed the kitchen completely, with the exception of the plates, flatware, food, one frying pan and a spatula. So this morning when we were kicking around the idea of more than just coffee for breakfast (refer to 2 weeks ago for a lovely story on how that turned out) we decided to use up the Cafe Du Monde beignet mix that would certainly have to be thrown out before the move otherwise.
France is gonna be awesome.
How are those? I’ve seen the box around, but never tried.
They are fantastic! And easy! Eating them hot and doused with powdered sugar is the best way to go. Don’t let them cool too much, although that certainly didn’t stop us from scarfing them down!
